Is there a good Party scene on NCL EPIC?

As i head out on the EPIC Feb.23 just wondering what the party scene is like at night on the epic in our early 20's looking to see what its like at night?

 

whats good and whats bad?

 

All night partys?

 

or is it a more laid back atmosphere around the ship?

Three times on the Epic and if you want to party, you can do it until the wee hours. This is more true for newbies since they haven't changed Blue Man and Slam Allen is now on Breakaway. But easy till 1 or 2 in the morning even if you avoid the casino like we do.

Although we are not in our twenties anymore, we did sail the Epic a few times and we do like to party, and I don't want to spoil your pre cruise fun a bit, but I have not seen serious partying going on... We found it a bit lame in the evenings, quite frankly. Nice shows and such, but no real party atmosphere. Maybe we were on the wrong sailings.

Plenty of good entertainment but not a great 20 something party atmosphere in my opinion. Still lots of fun though.

Party potential has gone down since we first sailed several years ago. It really comes down to who is performing on the ship and the demographics. Bars busy, people drinking, dancing even in the bars, people going in and out of venues - all of that is happening on this ship. You can loose time if you are having a good time no matter your age. Some of the venues don't even get going until after 11pm - so that may be the reason some find it tame.

I guess it depends on your particular cruise, and other cruisers. There is opportunity and if there is a group of you, you never know you might keep it going till the wee hours. It was relatively quiet on my last 2 cruises, but we did dance till around 3am. But yes, a lot of people just spend time in the open bars/O'sheenans etc, rather than bliss,

I find all of these ships a little tamer than RCCL /Costa back in the mid-90's.

We would all stay out until 4am- played with a band a few nights at 3am etc...

 

Then again I could be 20 years older :)

i'm led to believe carnival is more of a party than NCL, but it does all depend on the clientele on the specific cruise.
