Jack Harter Helicopter - my review.

I was on the 6/1 Wind trip and I didn't write a formal review, but I did want to post about my experience with Jack Harter Helicopter.

The wind was an hour late getting into port that day, I had booked the early trip and I knew what the cancellation policy was. So I emailed them and asked if I could chane my flight to the afternoon to no avail. So then we decided to take our chances and try to still get on the flight. The ship arriving in port an hour late meant that we would be cutting it very very close.

We got into port and had to go through customs or something and it took forever, because understadibly NCL gets all passengers with excursions booked through them off first. We finally got outside and at this point we are 10 min late for our flight. The shuttle bus driver waited for us, and gave us our safety instructions on the way there. When we arrived, we were 15 min late but they had held the flight for us.

They certainly didn't have to do that for us, and we would have been charged the fee anyway because we were within the 24 hour window. We had an amazing 90 min ride and it was a highlight of our trip.

Booking on your own is always a risk, as delays and other unforseen circumstances can happen. But if you are willing to take the risk to save a few bucks, Jack Harter went above and beyond for us. I highly reccomend them.

Edited to add: And now I've read the post below so their cancellation policy is changed. Yeah!!! Go cruise critic, in this case I'd book with them again in a heartbeat.

Thanks everyone!!
