Where to stay after cruise

We will be extending our stay for a couple days after our cruise in April. Was planning on staying in Long Beach due to Sunseekers tour on Sunday. Was also thinking about Knots Berry Farm on Saturday after departing the ship. Looks like Grand Prix is going on during his time and hotels are expensive! Have 8 am flight out of John Wayne Monday so will get shuttle. Any suggestions on where to stay would be appreciated. Unfamiliar with theaea. Thanks.

Suggest not staying in Long Beach at all. If you really are only considering Sunseekers tours, they pick up at a lot of hotels in the Long Beach area, and between there and downtown, so you could stay at a hotel at the Long Beach airport (although there is NOTHING to do in that area) or in Torrance, but you would need to take a cab (expensive) or shuttle to Knotts Berry Farm (which is close to Disneyland). Instead, I would recommend staying in one of the many hotels near Disneyland/Knotts Berry Farm, and then either renting a car or finding a different tour company for your Sunday tour. I don't believe Sunseekers will pick you up in the Anaheim area.
