Ceepot Posted January 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I am so excited as we have just booked for our second Seabourn cruise, Athens to Barcelona in April. :D Last time, we boarded at around 1pm, as instructed. When we arrived at the Collanade, it was absolutely rammed and we only just managed to find two seats! However, it worked out well as we shared a table with two wonderful couples who became our best buddies for the whole trip. :) But I feel we missed out on a little bit of the whole experience as it was all very full on when we arrived. Anyway.....what time shall we aim to get there this time? Many thanks
Mr Luxury Posted January 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2014 11.00 am then you can be first in line and board at 12.00 You are not missing anything by boarding later,it's only lunch after all. I usually board between 12.30 and 13.30 on most trips.
wripro Posted January 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Only lunch? Lunch is my favorite meal between breakfast and dinner!!!
curly wurly Posted January 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2014 We usually board quite early, but remember your suite won't be ready till about 2p.m. All those people already on board could be guests in transit, some people stay in the Seabourn bubble for months!! Lucky things!!:
Roxburgh Posted January 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2014 On our past cruise we had taken the Seabourn package with the hotel and transfer to the ship included. Seabourn had us picked up at 11am and on the ship before 12.00 noon. We were there so early the Colonnade hadn't actually opened
