I Luv Crusin Posted July 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Saw on another board that staterooms above the casino are loud and smokefilled. Anyone can offer advice? We are booked on Glory 6312 and I am a fearful first time cruiser. Advice PLEASE?!?!? we had 6304 on the Conquest(sister ship to Glory) and had no problem with either noise or smoke and we are very sensitive to both! Love PalmTrees Posted July 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2005 I originally booked cabin 6308 (right next to 6312) on Glory and had similar concerns. Since then I have changed to cabin 6335, basically same cabin but on starboard side. Any additional input anyone has would be helpful on either cabins. Thank you!!!! selucrey Posted July 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2005 We were in 6344 on the Conquest and had no problems at all.
pamurchu Posted July 20, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted July 20, 2005 "Just live each day as if it 's your last!" You are absolutely correct! Our beautiful island of Cozumel has been spared. And our new friends on the boards are alive and healthy. So thank you for putting things in perspective!:)

So thank you for putting things in perspective!:) Sometimes people lose sight of what is important.I had an unfortunate experience not long ago that made me realize how short and precious life really is. I have had my "last day" and was fortunate in that I have been given a second chance. I now enjoy each moment as it is. Thus my motto....:) Cozumel is a beautiful island and we cannot wait to go back. I think residents and visitors alike are thankful and realize that the hurricane could have been much worse. pamurchu Posted July 20, 2005 Author #9 Share Posted July 20, 2005 If you look at the top, I was the original poster asking about a certain room on the Glory. When I received a response, the comment about "living each day to the fullest" was in the poster's signature. I was just commenting about the appropriateness of this statement considering all that has been going on in Cozumel. Hope this clears things up a little!;)
