Cocochanel26 Posted January 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I really enjoyed the cabin and location of the cabin on my last cruise. I was wondering has anyone ever booked the same cabin on a future cruise? Did it take away some of the excitement knowing what you would expect? Did you have the same cabin steward? Phlybice Posted January 31, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I've done it twice. Once on the same ship, and once on a sister ship. I kicked myself on the same ship as the air wasn't working right the hole trip.
firemanbobswife Posted January 31, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Yep. FV 8107 on Celebrity Eclipse twice. 2470 Carnival Glory twice, 2470 on Conquest, and if I end up on Glory again, I will be booking - you guessed it - 2470! MEOWSMURPHY Posted January 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Yes we have and I just booked it a 3rd time..same aft cabin, deck 7 on the Freedom ( same ship)...did not have the same steward and it by no means dulled our excitement..I am so looking forward to having the same cabin again in October. Will be interesting to see the changes after the dry dock. Edited January 31, 2014 by MEOWSMURPHY
firemanbobswife Posted January 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Oh and I forgot to add we had 7389 on our very first cruise - Carnival Conquest and then booked it again on the Valor the next cruise. What can I say, I'm a creature of habit :)
J&E07 Posted January 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2014 We booked the same balcony for our next cruise. We liked the location and it was available so we figured why not.
Captain Carnival Posted January 31, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Yes I have, 7243 both on the Legend and Miracle both being Spirit Class ships.
happy cruzin Posted January 31, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Absolutely! We have booked the same cabin (aft wraps) multiple times - on sister ships and even on the same ship. The one cabin we've rebooked on the same ship was the Breeze. We have 6501 in February and again in August. Loved it the same BOTH times - and we did not have the same cabin steward. When you find one that you love....stick with it! Edited January 31, 2014 by happy cruzin

Island Crazed Posted January 31, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 31, 2014 We had the same adjoining cabins on the Disney Magic both cruises. I'd book our cabin on the Freedom again - no problem!
silverpenguin Posted January 31, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 31, 2014 We have booked the same cabin for this upcoming cruise. We're thinking of it as our home on the seas! Plus, we already know how to get everywhere from our room!

DontTreadOnMe Posted January 31, 2014 #14 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Yes. We did not feel like we lost anything from a "newness" standpoint. In fact, it made the cabin feel more like home. The ports of call were different. So we had a mix of the familiar and something new.
sewut Posted January 31, 2014 #15 Share Posted January 31, 2014 We have a cove balcony booked on the Magic that we have stayed in before. This particular balcony doesn't have a lifeboat above it.:D
NHNEV2003 Posted February 1, 2014 #16 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Just sailed Conquest, Cabin # 7376 this past December--Western Caribbean. Booked the Conquest Cabin# 7376 for Eastern Caribbean this upcoming December.:) The one bad thing is that we won't have our same Cabin Steward--Mr "P"---he's going to the Sunshine for his next contract. tanyaewa Posted February 1, 2014 #17 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Question: how are you able to choose which cabin you want? When I do a booking it only gives me 2-6 to choose from in any given category. On a single floor. Thats it. and never an option pf knowing what might be a better choice as far as view etc. And how do you know the pricing vs another room? This has been baffling me for months...... I just call my PVP - once we decide which itinerary. She then talks me through one cabin versus another. Or...I do my research then call her and tell her I want to book cabin XXXX. I also thought in the booking engine you could type in a specific cabin number to see if it was available. But I haven't looked for that option in quite a while. So...it might be gone! :o

agc291 Posted February 1, 2014 #21 Share Posted February 1, 2014 On monday we will be on the Victory in inside room 1040 again. We loved the convienence of how close it is to the lido and have booked this area on the Destiny as well. Since it has been almost 3 years our room steward is not the same but that would be cool.
