Have two questions about next cruise certificate

I tried to search on Carnival site, but I don't know the exact name to look for and it didn't work. I wanted to search here, but there does not seem to be any search function appearing here - at least not on my computer.

 

So, here are my questions:

 

1. If there are two roommates in a cabin, can we both use the credit?

 

2. Can this credit be used for tips?

 

We are going on the Fantasy next week and then the Pride next year, so perfect timing to find out about this feature. I am more used to Royal Caribbean.

When I have used my vouchers , Carnival generally splits the credit between the cabin mates ( unless you ask them not to ) . And as on board credit, it can be used for anything on your sign and sail .

Thank you. Guess I will not encourage my roommate to purchase one on our Fantasy cruise since we cannot use both.

She won't be able to purchase one anyway, cause Carnival stopped selling them some time ago.

Most ships have the "Future Cruise Booking" guy/gal onboard though, and if you know what ship, and what date your next cruise will be, you can still book onboard and get the same deal, (or better) . Just booked onboard the "Dream", and got DOUBLE the OBC. SWEET! :cool:

What is the downside? Can it be transferred to another ship?
