Where to snorkel ?/

Hi

 

First cruise

Done a lot of travellin' but never a cruise.

 

We are travelling on the Adventure of the Seas March 9-16

Out of San Juan

 

So we have 5 ports- St Lucia - we have a personal tour with Cosol Antigua - a personal tour by relatives that own a place there

 

so...

 

Barbados

St marten

St Croix

 

Which is the best snorkeling place ??

Out of the 3 ports left I'd say St Croix. Cane Bay for off shore walk in snorkeling. Or take a snorkel trip to Buck Island.

2nd choice would be Barbados. There are some shipwrecks that have decent snorkeling. The water clarity can be affected by the north swells this time of year.

The best island for snorkeling in my opinion is St Lucia.

We took a cat to a snorkling location; depending on the currents and the clarity the trip was OK but not the best.

You might get quicker response in the scuba and snorkeling topic or under the Ports of Call section and the specific ports.
