Fog in Galveston will our ship be delayed?

Just looked on weatherchannel.com and fog in Galveston. Is the ship going to be delayed. No emails/calls from RCCL. We want to know if we should delay our 2 hour ride to the port?. Do I call the cruise line or wait? Any one know. I know that Carnival was delayed last sunday till 5pm....

Definitely delayed. Ships are waiting for the fog to clear. Check the webcams to keep an eye on the fog. On another thread someone said they had gotten an email from RCCL saying they were delayed

If you're just 2 hours away I'd say leave no later than 11 or noon. It will be a madhouse no matter what time you get here; but I bet once they clear for dock then RCI will be in a hurry to get everyone off then on to get out as close to scheduled time as possible.

Just looked at marine traffic and NOTS is in dp mode by sea buoy so it will be a while before she is ready for new pax. Enjoy the cruise when you are off

I'm onboard the navigator right now. We are sitting offshore the port is closed due to fog. It will be at least 90 minutes after the pilot comes aboard til we are docked and there's no estimate on when he comes aboArd. Still almost zero visibility at 10:45 am

We faced the same problem a few years ago and didn't get to board till almost 8pm. Be prepared to wait and take food with you. We could not get out of the security checkpoint once we went through and got stuck waiting for hours.
