dtwtraveler Posted July 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2005 We'll be on the QM2 12/8-12/20. Will the ship be decorated for Christmas before we leave the ship?
csnorkle Posted July 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2005 I was on this trip last year, and they were installing decorations while we were on board. It was fun to see new things 'Christmas-ized' each day... a tree in the Grand Lobby, garland in the Britannia. Nice stuff too, no tacky santas or reindeer. Have fun! Chris Hi Chris: Thanks for the note! The Christmas Decorating and Decorations will make our trip on the QM2 even more memorable! Cathie
sfo-john Posted July 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2005 I was on the December 15th crossing on QE2 last year. By the time we arrived in NY on the 21st the ship was pretty much decorated.
kevinsac Posted July 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Nice stuff too, no tacky santas or reindeer. As we would expect only of the Brits! Better than some of those damned decorations we see here in the States.
