Queens Staircase

Okay I'll be in Nassau on Sunday the 23rd. I was planning on going to the pirate museum but don't know if I'll have enough time since it closes at noon on Sunday.

 

What is the walking time to get to the Queens Staircase and Fort Fincastle?

 

Do you recommend walking over getting a taxi. I don't know if I feel comfortable getting a taxi as I've heard stories of women being taken where they didn't want to go and then robbed.

It's an easy walk to the Queens staircase and up to the "fort". We did the due it yourself walking tour.
