RA2014 Posted February 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Hi we are looking at our first cruise, in July on the Carnival Spirit. Is it usually hot, lying in the sun, swimming sort of weather then? Cruise is to New Caledonia. Wanting a hot winter escape from NZ!
jessica3152 Posted February 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2014 It should be pleasant but not hot. I was there last July and it was about 25 degrees. You could sit in the sun and swim but it was cool if you were exposed to the wind.
becci19 Posted February 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I was on it in July last year. The islands were warm but there was wind. It was cold on deck in the evenings and cool on the first two days leaving and going back... It was amazing though!!
2011CruisingFamilyof4 Posted February 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2014 We were there in June and the weather was great, not too hot thankfully. But bring a jacket/cardigan/jumper for the ship as it can get chilly in the public areas and on deck at night. What islands are you going to?
