khirschman Posted February 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2014 We have an aft balcony booked on the dawn. I can now get a minisuite cheaper. Which cabin is the best? Why?
medicalma'am Posted February 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2014 On what floor is your aft balcony? Most aft balcony cabins will have a HUGE balcony. The room itself will be larger if you choose a mini-suite, and you will have a tub as opposed to just a shower. It is a toss up as to what size your balcony will be in a Mini. So what is most important to you: indoor space or outdoor space.

I would have a DO NOT UPGRADE attachment put on the reservation to keep that sought after Aft. cabin . ;)

cruiseawaits Posted February 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2014 I would really like to book an aft balcony on the Breakaway - NY to Bermuda in early June. Just not sure of the motion while sailing the wide open Atlantic. We've only sailed from Florida and San Juan which is much smoother. Any thoughts? rpb718 Posted February 20, 2014 #8 Share Posted February 20, 2014 The Dawn B1 aft balconies on deck 10 are almost twice as deep as a standard balcony and would definitely be larger overall than a mini-suite balcony. However, the B1 aft balconies on decks 8 & 9 are standard size. The mini-suite balcony would be a little bit wider - but not deeper.
