Has anyone tried to connect a DVD player to the new TV's yet?

It looks like with the new TV's that it would be easy if they haven't been tampered with.

(Yes I realize I'm on vacation but I fall asleep to TV, right before I doze off I change to the bridge cam)

Yes you can.

Some connections are hard to reach but it can be done.

yep, done it no problem. i would bring the RCA (red yellow white) plugs and maybe hdmi...i cant remember which one we used but it worked. i also have loaded a bunch of movies on my phone with a mini to normal hdmi connection and that worked very well, sure beats taking around a whole dvd player with you.

Yes they are on the Emerald however I don't know the headphone answer. Here is a photo I found of one on another thread
