Formal attire: Rank most formal to most casual cruise lines

I always where a long gown the first formal night on RCI, then usually a cocktail dress the second (I only have 1 gown I love, or I would probably wear one for both).

My husband does not own a tux, but wears a black suit on formal nights. Neither of us has ever felt out of place.

We just got off the Celebrity Century last month. 19 days of cruising.

This was the least dressy cruise I have seen on Celebrity. Very few tuxes for men, I would say 10%. Long gowns for ladies about 25%.

The majority of men had on dark suits, some just shirts and ties.

Most of the ladies had cocktail dresses, or dressy pants with dressy tops.

Some ladies just plain, simple dresses. This was the least dressed up I have seen on Celebrity.
