Port of Tampa fog?

We flew into Tampa this morning and the pilot talked about a great deal of fog complicating some other flights. Our hotel shuttle driver just asked about our plans and when we shared we were cruising on the Legend tomorrow, he said hopefully she arrives on time.

Hmmmm.... Where is best place to view weather updates in caption to fog and also best place to find out if he ship is delayed in the AM before we head to port? Will carnival call us?

Carnival emailed me just now...asking that people not head to port before checking with Carnival in morning. Fog may delay Legend into Tampa. Carnival states they will provide an update by 10AM.

Sea Fog seems to be an issue in Tampa right now, I sure hope there is not a big worry of it in April when we leave on the Legend. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable cruise and all the luck you have no issues so you can get onboard when you planned. Enjoy the upgrades let us know if waterworks is done!

Fog is an issue in Winter here - come mid to late march onward, it gets better - April should be good :-)

We also got off around 1:30, the cruise was great. You can't control the weather. But the port authority people where the rudest we have ever seen. Will probably never cruise out of Tampa again. Screaming at people and small children for not knowing where to stand etc. Very rude.
