bambilin Posted February 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Belize- within a reasonable distance from Port. We will be stopping in Belize on our cruise in August. Based on my searching only "beach" close to the port is the man made "Cucumber Beach". Doesn't sound great to us. Thinking of the ship's "Beach Break. When are you going? Maybe you can give me some pointers! ;0) Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
brookeq Posted February 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2014 We wanted a beach trip and didn't find many options. Carnival had just changed their beach break to a new beach and it didn't get good reviews. So we opted for goffs caye. Beach was beautiful and secluded. Rum punch was included and you could buy other drinks. Food was good and cheap. It is at Least a half hour boat ride from the port. And of course you have to tender in from the ship first. But it was our only option with our small kids. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
TavelRN Posted February 24, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted February 24, 2014 Goff's Cay seems like the best option. Do they have loungers? I am so bummed, because the cruise that I really wanted to go on (with the perfect ports of call), just sold out. This is our second option. So now I have to look for things to do in Belize and . No loungers. It was the only bad thing about the excursion. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
