Breakaway Drink Package

Hello!

I am sailing on the Breakaway in April. I am interested in the Ultimate Beverage Package, that lets you get cocktails, draft beer, bottled beer, and wine. For the life of me, I cannot find the beer list. Beer is the reason why I would be buying this package. So if anyone could help me with the beer that is served with this package, that would be greatly appreciated:o

Can't help you with the beer list but I hope that your cruise is after April 15th because UBP has a blackout period during spring break season and nobody can get UBP on cruises departing between March 1 and April 15.

The selection of beers seems to vary a bit by ship. Mostly US lagers.

This is the most current list I could find, although I did the UBP and drank grey goose orange (with a mixer, not as a martini) and it was included. It's basically $56.35/day and all adults must purchase it and anyone on your reservation under 21 must purchase the soda package.

We did the soda PKG on the NCL Gem September 2012 and got a Norwegian/Pepsi hot/cold mug.

Does anyone know if they still do that and if they are available on the breakaway?? We are going in May

Yes, all drink packages are fleetwide and operate just the same.

I did the package last November and my gf and I drank many beers. If we drank mainly beer in the package, it would not have been worth it. At 5.50 per beer we would have had to drink 10 beers each to break even. We did drink cocktails and wine and did save a little money in the end.

 

With a port intensive cruise we wouldn't have saved anything. We also normally bring a few bottles of champagne and that we will not do again.

 

For our next cruise we will not bring champagne and we will drink mainly wine and drinks.

When we were on the breakaway two weeks ago they did not offer it. Since it is consider spring break season and they don't sell it during that time to make more money of off people on spring break. Not sure when the spring break season ends.

It's not available from March 1st through April 15th as indicated in the terms & conditions
