Star Princess Pools & Hot Tubs - Warm?

Hello. This is our first time on the Star Princess, and we are sailing in 9 days on the 16 day ship to Hawaii from LA. Are the pools heated? Are the Hot Tubs really warm on the Star?

And what's the deal about "Sanctuary?" Is this a premium service you have to pay extra for on the Star? What's included?

Thanks for filling me in.

The Sanctuary is a relatively small adults-only area on the top of the ship forward with large, comfortable loungers and attendants to bring you food and drinks, iced towels on hot days, blankets on cooler days, and afternoon tea. You select "your" lounger and no one else can use it. Pricing has been $10/half-day, $20/day, $15/day if you book the whole cruise. That's per-person. I understand that pricing has increased on some ships to $20/half-day, $40/day and $30/day if you book the whole cruise. Don't know about the Star. There are plenty of loungers elsewhere at no cost.
