plwilliams Posted May 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2004 In looking at the deck plans for the Mille class ships (web site and brochures), it appears that the Concierge Class balconies are a tad larger forward of the Celebrity suites and elevators on the sky deck, then those aft of them. Does any one have any personal knowledge as to whether or not this is really the case on the ships? 1/19/2004 Mercury - Mexican Riviera <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=1> <param name="day" value=19> <param name="hour" value=17> </applet> 12/05/2004 Infinity - Hawaii <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=12> <param name="day" value=5> <param name="hour" value=21> </applet> 08/2001 Mercury - Alaska 08/2002 Mercury - Alaska 11/2003 Infinity-Panama Canal
seabreezer Posted May 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2004 I'm not sure about the balconies along the sides of the ship, but the balconies facing the aft are at least 3 times as deep as the side balconies. Guest Posted May 17, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2004 The brochure is not to scale. The Concierge Class balconies on the Sky Deck that look deeper on the sides forward of the midship elevators are all the same size as the ones aft of the elevators....with the exception of the ones that are angled where the ship juts out--they are a bit larger because of the angle. The stern (aft facing)balconies are much deeper than shown in the brochure. plwilliams Posted May 17, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted May 17, 2004 Char, Thanks, that's what I thought. I was aware that the aft cabins had very large balconies, but ever since sailing on the Infinity and being just aft of the Celebrity Suites, I've wondered about those that are forward of the suites or elevators. 08/2001 Mercury - Alaska 08/2002 Mercury - Alaska 11/2003 Infinity-Panama Canal 01/2004 Mercury - Mexican Riviera 12/2005 Island Princess - Hawaii
