Asia cruises - food

Quick questions for those who have done Asia cruises...

Does the food on board have more of an Asian flare then say on a caribbean cruise? Or is the food on board the same no matter where the ship is sailing to?

At home, we enjoy Chinese, Korean & Japanese food and can't wait to eat while in these countries but wanted to know what we'll get on the ship.

We were on Legend and thought that all the usual choices were there, with the addition of some Asian dishes, especially at breakfast. We won't know about Celebrity til we sail in 4 weeks

We just returned from Millennium SE Asia. In Oceanview cafe at breakfast and lunch there were many Asian offerings. In the evening in the main dinning room there was one, not on the printed menu, Asian special in each category. The appetizers and soups were all particularly good!

In ML last year we had the normal Celebrity menu. I don't recall any special menus. At the lunch buffet Celebrity has an Asian Station throughout the fleet. Nothing special though or related to the port we were visiting. ~ Rick

Glad to see they have incorporated some local dishes. Thanks ~ Rick
