AviGirl Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Quick questions for those who have done Asia cruises... Does the food on board have more of an Asian flare then say on a caribbean cruise? Or is the food on board the same no matter where the ship is sailing to? At home, we enjoy Chinese, Korean & Japanese food and can't wait to eat while in these countries but wanted to know what we'll get on the ship. suekay Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) We were on Legend and thought that all the usual choices were there, with the addition of some Asian dishes, especially at breakfast. We won't know about Celebrity til we sail in 4 weeks Edited February 27, 2014 by suekay
sheeng Posted February 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2014 We just returned from Millennium SE Asia. In Oceanview cafe at breakfast and lunch there were many Asian offerings. In the evening in the main dinning room there was one, not on the printed menu, Asian special in each category. The appetizers and soups were all particularly good! Sheila. I don't recall any special menus. At the lunch buffet Celebrity has an Asian Station throughout the fleet. Nothing special though or related to the port we were visiting. ~ Rick

bludevil Posted February 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2014 my advice would be if you really want local food, eat it off the ship. I was disappointed with the onboard Asian offerings while on the Millennium last year.
