Recommendations for catamaran tours

Hi, we will be sailing to Bermuda on the Celebrity Summit this Aug/Sept. I would like to do a catamaran tour while there. I've manually searched this forum for the last 6 pages or so and can't find any discussions on this.

Has anyone done a catamaran tour in Bermuda with a company they can recommend. I do NOT want to go thru the cruise line as I do not want a large crowd of 40-50 people. I also don't want to charter one just for the 2 of us. I'd like to do a shared tour of up to no more than 25 people if possible.

Thanks!

I have been researching the same thing, and came across an excellent review by Gambee in which he went on this one:

http://kirksadventures.com/catamaran-sail-snorkel/

The cost is $65 if you book it at the dockyard at the pink excursion hut, and it is the same excursion the ship offers at $80! There were only a handful of people on the cat, so it seems relaxed. They also offer sunset sails.

Have fun!

Christina

Sorry, but I beg to differ with above poster.

The link you posted is not the same Catamaran that Gambee went on.

He was on The Aristocat, which is a different vessel.

Please see the link to Gambee's review, chapter 19, with a picture of the name of the Catamaran clearly on it: The Aristocat.

Scroll down halfway to see that particular picture.:p:p

Here is the link for the Island Tour Centre where he rented his catamaran ride:

I'm sorry, I just followed this link when I googled Aristocat catamaran:

http://www.bermuda.com/things-to-do/diving--watersports/sailing--parasailing.aspx

If you scroll down, you see "Aristocat" and when you click on their link, it takes you to the link I posted, Capt. Kirk's Adventures. Maybe there is another Aristocat?

I did originally get my info from Gambee's review which you posted the link for. I googled the Aristocat because he did not provide a link.

Sorry for any misinformation.

No worries!

I must have his review memorized I read it so many times doing research for my own cruise.

Question for anyone:

We are thinking of doing the Rising Son Catamaran, but I don't want to book it so far in advance (not sailing until July). I am wondering if they get sold out fast.

Can I wait until we dock in Bermuda and book through the little hut at the Dockyard?

Thanks in advance!
