Private Drivers on Islands

This might get switched over to the islands forum, but can anyone recommend a driver/company in Cozumel OTHER then Tours Plaza? I have waited too long and they are booked on the day we are going to be in Cozumel. I am so mad I could kick myself..lol..helppppppp

I assume you have looked on page 1 under the Ports section to see who other posters have used? That's all I can suggest.

Just hire a cab after getting off the ship, do a little haggling, fun, its a very small island. They can do anything you want

We hired a driver a few weeks ago, we were on a cruise. We went to Money Bar, Playa Palancar, then went to the east side and stayed awhile. Loved our time at all three. Most of us carried our own snorkel gear, but a few didn't, a few people rented from money bar while we were there. Great snorkeling at both places. We had plenty of time and even arrived back at the shops for a little shopping. We used Santiago Zapata great guy, had ice cooler packed with drinks we asked for. His email is sanzaparadise@hotmail.com We rented a van for all day, there were 9 of us he had lots of drinks for adults and kids, charged us $180 and got us free snorkel gear and kayaks at playa palancar. Very reliable guy, did not ask for money up front.

We gave him $200 at the end of the day bc he did such a great job and we drank lots!

thanks everyone...we booked with Black Hat cozumel. Party of four, 3 hours $90 in his van. We planned out where we want to go and what new places we want to go too over on the Wild Side. Much better then renting a car..this way momma can have a few drinks too...!! lol

Just checking on who your driver was? We are looking at hiring a private driver for the day. Sounds like you got a good deal and I am sure he would rent out longer if asked. Thanks ahead of time!
