Painter Posted March 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Has anyone info on this cabin. I have been told it is very obstructed. If that is the case ...is there still enough light getting through to be able to know if it is day or night?
megsie Posted March 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2014 There is a site that you can google with photos of the obstructed view cabins. Recently booked D617, so we checked first. Looking at the photo for 602, there seems to be the full part of the tender outside the window. Family on Dawn Princess had a similar cabin and there was good light but no view. megsie Posted March 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Forgot to mention, we were in a partially obstructed cabin on Solstice, great cabin. But, had a shower in the early morning on a day with tender shore access and had laid clothes on bed to dress, stepped out of shower, partially dressed only to see staff cleaning the tender off our balcony in full view. Dashed back into shower and DH handed in clothes. Lesson learnt when travelling with a tender outside - dress in bathroom, especially early on tender travel days! K-Roo-Zers Posted March 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Hi Marleneann, We were in this cabin last year. It was an upgrade from an inside. Yes, there is definitely light and it is more than adequate, albeit small and a different layout. One tip, when you have a shower, make sure you check to see whether the maintenance guys are working in and around the tender. I found out the wrong way, but we had a big laugh!! We loved the location and although the casino is close we never had any problems with noise. Enjoy yourself. Nicki
