Port Canaveral Airboat Tours

Hi all,

We are partial to doing our own tours while visiting ports. We've been to Disney this year will be 25 times, so the only thing we really want to do when stopping at this port would be an airboat tour, I honestly do not know if this is even plausible as I've been searching the web and do not see a whole lot in the proximity of Port Canaveral.

So my questions are, are there any recommended airboat tours that are close to the port, how far, and what about transportation costs round trip to/from said tour if it even exists. I need help as we leave in 25 days. Thanks all.

Perhaps 25-30 minutes away, at the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, is the Twister Airboat rides. We have takes guests there from Orlando and they all have enjoyed the experience. You will need a rental car for this. Just drive south on A1A to SR 520 and then west to the St. Johns River. Here is the URL: http://www.twisterairboatrides.com/

If it's just one person, it may be easier to book through the cruise ship. Otherwise, it will be cheaper to do it yourself. You will also gain flexibility to do other things with a car.

Which car rental companies serve PC? You can do a simple search of past posts, as this is a frequent question here.
