Which apartment for a short term stay (3-5nights) in either Fort Laud. or Miami ?

Dear Cruise Critics,

we will be on Oasis in early May and are planning to stay in either Miami or FortLauderdale prior to the cruise.

 

As we are more into apartment type rentals these days, we are looking for a nice apartment, being not too far aways from anything, having a kitchen (we love to cook our own breakfirst, including heating of rolls) and ideally wireless lan as well as parking. Pricing should not be way above 120USD per bedroom.

 

We have searched ourselves already as well as been in one (Shamrock Rentals), but wanted to kindly ask if anybody has some good ideas for us ? Shamrock is nice but you never know ... maybe somebody has a nice idea or experience to share.

I would concentrate on the Ft. Lauderdale area and forget Miami

 

There is a little beach town not for from Port Everglades, called Lauderdale By The Sea. I would Google them
