Ewoodspark Posted March 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Over the past two days, the prices on the web site have been going crazy. A price of £799 for a balcony suddenly jumped up to £1,610 but when you went further for the actual details, the price was still £799. I sent an E-mail to NCL, but they could not answer the question by E-mail as to what was going wrong. This was not just on one partticular cruise, but a number of them. Today, the prices seem to have gone back to what they were. Is this common with the web site prices or was it somebody at NCL just messing with the prices? jakeT Posted March 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Welcome to the club.. This has been an issue with NCL for a few months. They can not sell rooms at the first asking price. so they lower the price sell some rooms then raise the price. ect. ect.ect. Just like airlines do
Clem Kadiddlehopper Posted March 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2014 It is standard supply and demand in the free market place. It happens in many industries.
