First Time Cruiser re: hotel/rental car

[Glory in January]

We will be cruising Carnival Glory in January leaving from Port Canaveral. I've booked the cruise and the flight myself, but I have a quick logistical question - We fly in 2 days before the cruise (Disneyworld). If I rent a car at the Orlando airport, is there somewhere I can turn it in at Port Canaveral? Or do I return it to the Orlando airport, and take some sort of shuttle to Port Canaveral?

 

Plus, what's the best place to get a hotel - near Disneyworld, near the airport, or near Port Canaveral?

We are renting a car from Budget at the airport and are returning it at their Port Canaveral site. I believe that Avis also has a site by the port. Budget has a shuttle to bring you to the port after you return the car. Not all car rental companies have a site by the port. we gat a good rate from Budget so we went with them. :)
