txd Posted March 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2014 As I understood you can order tickets online from the ATVO's Web site, with a discount for your advance purchase. When ordering online, you'll receive an electronic code by e-mail. Then take the e-mail with the code to the ATVO window in the airport to receive your tickets. Does it work? Please share your experience. Thanks, TD
Rare Hlitner Posted March 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Unless there have been recent changes, a one-way ATVO ticket from the Marco Polo airport into Venice (P. Roma) costs 6 Euros. When I look on line I see this same price. If this is still the case then there is really no advantage to purchasing online. You can always buy ATVO tickets at the ticket window located inside the terminal near the exit. There is also an automatic ticket vending machine on the island near the bus stop (this machine was out of order on our last two visits). As I recall, the price was the same at all venues.
