stepmonster Posted March 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Has anyone walked through the caves to Devils beach, the snorkeled back to the baths beach? If so, how long a swim is it
pilotdane Posted March 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2014 It depends on how strong a swimmer you are but it's not a long walk and it's not a long swim. All it takes is one person dawdling on one of the stairs/ladders and you can easily swim around faster than walking through the caves. Here is a good image I found online showing the area and has the trails marked. If you find a tiny zip-loc bag with $20 inside it's mine.
blue_water Posted March 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2014 Just off the top of that picture is Spring Bay, another boulder-strewn shoreline that is very nice and much less crowded on cruise ship days. You can walk there from the road or swim from the Baths beach. The snorkeling from the Baths beach to Spring Bay is reported to be very good with vibrant marine life. The Crawl is in Spring Bay. http://www.bvitourism.com/activity/spring-bay-national-park

cherylroslyn Posted March 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Has anyone walked through the caves to Devils beach, the snorkeled back to the baths beach? If so, how long a swim is it I've swam it, but don't go alone, you will not be visible from the shoreline. I saw some big fish, little squids, and a huge nurse shark!!!!!
