Shore Excursion help needed

Recommended Posts

We are going on the Canada/New England cruise in September on the Golden Princess and I was wondering if anyone knew which port was better for whale watching, Bar Harbor or Halifax. We have seen the whales in Alaska but the others going on the cruise have never seen them anywhere and we wanted to try and make the right choice. We are a pretty large group so any advice on any of the excursions would be helpful. Some shoppers and some history buffs as well. Any way to make it enjoyable for everyone without having to split up? Thanks for the help.
