Bettyboop66 Posted July 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2005 We are going on the Canada/New England cruise in September on the Golden Princess and I was wondering if anyone knew which port was better for whale watching, Bar Harbor or Halifax. We have seen the whales in Alaska but the others going on the cruise have never seen them anywhere and we wanted to try and make the right choice. We are a pretty large group so any advice on any of the excursions would be helpful. Some shoppers and some history buffs as well. Any way to make it enjoyable for everyone without having to split up? Thanks for the help.
CEV426 Posted September 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2005 In another thread entitled "Visiting Halifax" a local resident advises against whale watching in Halifax. It sound like St. John's/Bay of Fundy is a better option. Take a look.
