No..we had one taken on our Charleston cruise. Picked it up the last morning in one of the dance clubs onboard. Super easy and made a nice parting gift for our room stewardess. :D

I never thought about the actual size of the bottles.

 

I purchased two bottles of wine for my brother.

 

Yesterday I tried to find the “size” on the bottle and could not. On the shelf they all looked the same.

 

Is 750 ml a standard wine bottle size?

My friend and I are both bringing the allowed 750 ml bottle of wine (1 each) and 12 bottles of water (each). My question is can we combine all of these items into one carry-on? I have a 20" wheeled case that would make things easier than each of us lugging around all that water (and wine).

Have sailed from Galveston over a dozen times and can say that they are very particular about bottles. They have inspected and shaken anything we have packed.

 

Agreed Hoplady... I'm from Houston and have sailed out of Galveston a number of times. Last time was the first time we took wine on board and they did open the bags and gave the wine a look see. They were also stopping and searching anyone carrying on water and soda.

 

You might get by sneaking aboard your checked luggage but you still run the risk of getting caught. I think it is to much of a bother to even try.

Yes you can combine. Hubby always carries on all of our wine, water, etc. for both of us. We always take a little more than "officially" allowed. Never had a problem in multiple FL ports.

 

If they do happen to ask, just tell them it's for both of you.

Hi got a quick question- I've had three ventral hernia surgeries..no lifting straight up or holding anything over 10 pounds...and hubbies can not lift due to his back..can we put our water in our checked bags? We can roll it just fine...or do we need a note from the doctor? I could bring it on as a rolling carryon but not sure if I'm allowed?

Yes you can bring it on in a carry-on-size rolling bag. I have a small rolling cooler bag that I bring mine in. But you still have to lift it unto the counter so that it can go through the scanner and get screened by security. You might want to check with Carnival and explain your particular situation.
