Due to the tramline extension there are major road diversions at Manchester Airport. It took me 30 minutes to get from the end of the M56 to Terminal 3 car park at 6.30am yesterday! Normally a couple of minutes at most. Leaving took another half an hour. Once inside my wife reports that security checks are taking longer. It took her 1 hour 20 from entering the terminal to finally getting airside. There were four separate security points, each checking hand luggage. You can purchase 'Fast Track' to speed the security process for about £3.00 on line. Only 2 weeks to the MAN to Genoa flight. Just had an upgrade from P & O to a Suite.
