Tampa Transportation

Can anyone tell me the best way to get from the Tampa airport to the ship? There are 5 of us who need to get to the Legend.

We just took a taxi right from the airport. They were waiting outside when we arrived. It was like $30 for two of us but we made two stops st target and the liquor store.

I would take a taxi. There should be vans right outside baggage claim.

I've researched this quite a bit and decided on a taxi vs. the Carnival shuttle. It's way cheaper to take a cab. I too will be making a pit stop on the way to the port for a couple bottles of wine.

 

One question I'm not sure about- is it just as easy to get a cab at the port after the cruise or do I need to make arrangements beforehand?

We used Ship Or Shore last year from our hotel. Bob and his staff were very friendly. Price was included with our room so I don't know how much it was but you can give him a call. I plan to use him in May for our next cruise.

@Jenhem31 It was just as easy to get a cab/shuttle after the cruise. We made no arrangements prior but they had cabs/shuttles waiting when you got off the ship.

For trips from the airport straight to the port, it's a flat rate of $25 up to 4 people plus tip.

Besides a taxi Tampa also has Super Shuttle. To save time I would set a reservation.
