packed and ready…en route Passau and viking idun danube.thanks for all the info.

We leave later this week for Munich via Atlanta…then to Passau and our first river cruise on the Viking Idun embarking on Sunday. 8 days later we disembark in Budapest en route Paris.

 

 

Thanks to everyone on this board who has shared thoughts,ideas and opinions…

Many of you have given us great ideas that we have incorporated into the trip.

 

The different perspectives and expectations of river cruising vs. ocean cruising has prepared us well.

 

My only miscue so far is entirely my fault. With the Florida Gators the #1 seed and on their way to another national college basketball championship, i will miss most of their journey. i hope i can find ESPN somewhere in Europe!!

 

i offer an apology in advance to my shipmates on the Viking Idun, as i will be wearing jeans from time to time. Fortunately my University of Florida shirt does have a collar!

 

Again thanks for the help in planning this trip and if anyone has any questions about the trip , or an upcoming similar cruise, i will be checking this site during the voyage.
