devildawg23 Posted March 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Once I have made my final payment, if the price of my cruise drops there is zero benefit for my booking. Is that correct?
Bulldog3777 Posted March 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Unless you booked Early Saver.
KPfromCT Posted March 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2014 But you could always check on an upgrade......
cruising_diva Posted March 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2014 If you booked Early Saver, any price drops will be given to you as on board credit, if you complete the online form or call Carnival.
devildawg23 Posted March 20, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted March 20, 2014 I don't know if I booked Early Saver. I just know I called the guy, he hit some keys on a keyboard, I gave him my credit card, and now I get to be on a boat for fourth time ever. devildawg23 Posted March 20, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted March 20, 2014 I must not have since I didn't book it 5 months in advance. Thank you for the help.
pauleydm Posted March 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 20, 2014 You may be eligible for an upgrade, but not OBC unless you booked ES Rate:)
hftmrock Posted March 20, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2014 it would be in your best interest to find out what rate you received. all it would take is a phone call
maldenmusic Posted March 20, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Early saver will get you the price savings if you have not made your final payment. After that, you will get an OBC. One reason I don't make my final payment until the last day.
ccruisequeen Posted March 20, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 20, 2014 I took advantage of the casino rate so I'm not sure if it's early saver at all. There's no listing on the form
Out to sea! Posted March 20, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 20, 2014 I don't know if I booked Early Saver. I just know I called the guy, he hit some keys on a keyboard, I gave him my credit card, and now I get to be on a boat for fourth time ever. I love the honesty! :) Check with your "guy" and see if you are booked Early Saver. If so, you get OBC for any price drops up to 2 business days before sailing.......if you fill out the the online form requesting the new price (or if you're booked through a TA (not sure who "the guy" is) they must fill out the form for you and they may charge to do so).
