We sail on her tomorrow for the same cruise 4-night. I wish I could say our pricing was as amazing as yours .... it was good but not that good. :( I booked what I thought was a great price and then had to pay in full as I booked less than 8 weeks out. Pricing of course went down after full payment so not price adjustment. I was able to move from our inside upper/lower cabin to an outside one at not extra cost thought.

I have a couple questions... you showed photos of the sauna and steam room. There is no charge for these correct? And if I remember correctly there are showers close by as well?

Do you have any idea when the Chef's Table dining is held? Trying to figure this out?

Did you do Catalina then a day at sea then Ensenada or Catalina, Enseanda

We too are on spring break but this coming week. My son however is on spring break the week after so it is only my daughter and me. My husband is not interested in cruising so we will go and tell him all about it. :)

Next morning, we pulled into Avalon as I was doing my 55 laps on the track.

After working out, showering, and breakfast, we grabbed a tender to Avalon. This was such an easy process, no lines, no tickets, no pushing, no shoving. Again, just a slow trickle off the ship.

It was nice and early with very few crowds. We walked to the Casino, up the hill to the chimes tower, and around town. We had some very good Mexican food at Catalina Cantina on the beachfront. We don't do excursions very often, cause we like to do our own thing. We had a great day in Avalon.

Zane Grey was one of my favorite authors when I was growing up. His house in Avalon is now an Inn.

I was on the same cruise - booked it two weeks before cruising due to timing and price. It's the exact same as the Inspiration also sailing out of Long Beach.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. It's like a digital photo album. Very relaxing time.

I'm a solo cruiser and I had met the most beautiful woman on this cruise...but alas it's back to reality. Until next cruise.

Thanks again. Much appreciated!

wondering if your itinerary will be the same as ours....

Catalina on first day, Ensenada 2nd day and then a sea day? When was cruise elegant night? Do you remember when the Chef's Table was offered? We leave tomorrow.

Ours was Catalina, Sea Day, Ensenada.
