Celebrity Millenium Yokohama to Vancouver port or starboard?

We have a hold on a Concierge verandah cabin on the Celebrity Millenium voyage from Yokohama Japan to Vancouver Canada on May 10. Looking at the map it seems we will be travelling pretty much due east for most of the trip. We are hoping to get some sunlight and hopefully escape most of the previaling weather. Which side of the ship would you recommend - port or starboard?

Starboard. No sun at all on the Port side going east. EM

Are you at all concerned about radiation in sea water which is converted to drinking water on ship? We looked at this cruise, also, but became very concerned about radiation around Japan and areas surrounding it. Not sure it is safe to travel these seas.
