Allure Chef's Table

Recommended Posts

On the Allure, is the Chef's Table a wine pairing experience? Or would that be more on par for 150 Central Park? looking to do a wine pairing dinner one evening and not sure which on to do.

We've done the Chef's Table on Allure on two different cruises. It is an outstanding dining experience with very good wine pairings. The chef explains the preparation of each course and the wine steward pairs and explains the corresponding wine with each course. Wines were poured generously and refilled as requested. We felt it was well worth the cost. While you can get the wine pairings at 150 Central Park, the explanations of each wine is not done. We opted not to do the wine pairing at 150 Central Park and just purchased a good bottle to enjoy with the meal.

Both dining experiences were great. 150 is a tasting menu. We got plenty of food, but it's lots of small bites. The chef's table was more of a great normal sized meal with several courses instead of lots of different things.
