scoobysnack Posted July 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2005 We will be in Miami (or around there) for 2 nights prior to our cruise in Jan. and we are looking for a hotel on or by the beach. We will have five kids with us. Should we look in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Miami?? I have been looking at Priceline and bidding for travel.com. Are there any 4star or resorts that we should stay away fom? Also, can we park our car in the Miami port for our cruise (Carnival) and how much will it cost per day? Thanks for any help. TrentS Posted July 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2005 First of all - Yes, you can safely leave your car in the parking garages at the Port of Miami. The cost is $12 per day. As far as which area to stay in, that depends on YOU. :) They all have nice beaches, but what else do you want out of the area you're in? Here are some nice beachfront resorts/hotels I would recommend, from north to south - Fort Lauderdale down to Hollywood, Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, and South Beach...
