IMKTDQT810 Posted March 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2014 I have not been on a Carnival ship in over 20 years. Do you need to arrive with life vest on or with you? (yes, I would be that fool thinking you still had to). How long does it take approx? We will be on the Pride if that helps as far as ship size/pax. I would recommend you take your time getting there (dont go too slow but dont be the first ones).

faroozi Posted March 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) No life jackets needed. Actual muster takes just slightly longer than a plane emergency spiel. The time waiting depends on your fellow passengers and how quickly they report to their stations. Last week, I think it ended up being about an hour. Not completely sure. It wasn't bad, but we had to wait longer because they released the otherside of the boat first. Edited March 27, 2014 by faroozi
Brighton Line Posted March 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2014 average 20 minutes. I've been on longer ones, where they "dismiss" the side of the ship I am not on FIRST to control crowding. I want to be early so I can be in the last row leaning against the bulkhead (wall) ;)
Sammycupcaker Posted March 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Our last one on the magic we were assigned the MDR as our place to meet for the drill. It was nice because we got to sit down and relax. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Lerin Posted March 28, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Our last one was on Superbowl Sunday and they turned off the game. Told everyone if they hurried to muster they'd turn the game back on quick. Took about 10 minutes. :D
