My Time Dining specifically on the Grandeur

I'm reading that experiences have varied depending on ship. If you've done it on the Grandeur, did you make reservations? Did you have a lot of flexibility, or only a few times left? Did you have to wait to be seated?

Thanks!

the first time we had standing reservations about half way between early and late seating times. same table, same staff. booked prior to boarding.

never had an issue being seated as soon as we arrived

second time we decided to wing it and ended up actually only eating there once. we made last minute reservations( about 45 minutes out) with another couple. waited maybe 3 minutes

we do not do the shows so never have to plan around them
