bbjaspan Posted July 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2005 We are planning on taking the December 4 Panama Canal Cruise on Celebrity's Summit ship. Would appreciate information on the weather to expect at this time of year. Is this sun-bathing weather, rainy season or what? Thanks

Would appreciate information on the weather to expect at this time of year. Is this sun-bathing weather, rainy season or what? Thanks We had mostly sunny weather this past December. As Druke I said, expect the Canal Zone to be hot and humid. We had a mix of sun and clouds in Cozumel with a little sprinkle (just a few drops - not even a shower). It was windy and there were rough seas going between the Canal and Grand Cayman. The result was that all ship-booked snorkel and scuba tours were cancelled for all 4 ships in GC. All in all, however, the weather was pretty nice. The chance is always there, however, that a storm system will come in from North America. The weather actually in George Town was very nice (sunny and warm) and we had the same in Belize and Costa Rica. All in all, however, the weather was pretty nice.
