What to do in Vigo Spain on a port day. Would like to do something on our own that would give us the chance to see Vigo and get a taste for the city and culture without having to do an excursion. Can we walk to city from port? Anyone?

Its a short walk from the harbour (the ship docks alongside). Leave the quay entrance walk to the Marina to you left and take anyone of the roads heading up the hill to your right. It will take you to the very nice City Centre.

Many times. Its quite a bit further to walk. Cunard operate a shuttle bus in to the City and I'd recommend you take that.
