Copenhagen Marathon - May 18th

So the Copenhagen Marathon is on May 18th this year... Our pre-cruise day (well, our second pre-cruise day). We still have a post-cruise day. I'm thinking trying to get as much seen as possible on the first pre-cruise day.

 

But, from people who have been in Copenhagen during the marathon, how disruptive is the route to tourism? Can you cross the route when there are no runners? Are there services / places that close specifically for the marathon?

There will be places where you can cross the route.

 

The only major disruption is for the busses that will be rerouted.
