Glory March 23-30 Mini Review

GREAT trip.

 

Loved it. I have to say I enjoyed this size of ship. We did the dream last year and it seemed SO big. This size ship was really manageable IMO. We haven't downloaded any pictures yet.

 

We had two interior rooms on the 6th floor. I liked they were adjoining, I didn't like they were over the casino. I had a few people tell me the noise wasn't bad, it was loud. However it didn't detract from the cruise. If you like to go to bed early and can't sleep though it you might want to book elsewhere.

 

My 10 year old had fun. He had a friend from school on the ship and made several friends. He did Camp Carnival a little. He felt the activities were geared toward younger kids and I did too, but he had so much else to occupy him.

 

My 18 year old was allowed in Club O2. He took his school ID and the counselor made an exception for him but mentioned if he caused problems he was out. He made several friends and had a good time. He went to the dance party, karaoke etc. I rarely saw him

 

We ate at the Steakhouse, that was AMAZING! That was definitely worth the extra money. I was stuffed!!! Great service. I would recommend this for sure.

 

We did your time dining, we ended up in the same section every night, asked for the same wait staff, food was good, I only ate there twice though. I was really tired on this cruise more than the last one we took. I think it was due to the sun!

 

Nassau we shopped then got back on early to take advantage of people being off the ship.

 

St. Thomas we did a Turtle Cove Snorkel. It was fun, but not the best snorkeling i have done. It was very crowded and there was a big time limit, but the crew on the Castaway Girl was nice and my youngest had fun.

 

San Juan we walked around, went to El Morro. It was HOT! I enjoyed it. My youngest was tired, but we found San Juan to be really interesting. I woul definitely go back

 

Grand Turk we were at the beach for a bit (beautiful beach) and then Margaritaville. Kids did the flowrider, they loved that. I was chicken and took pictures. LOL

 

Great cruise. Met alot of nice people and everyone seemed to be having alot of fun. I had no issues on this trip. I'm pretty easy going.

 

We went to the Alchemy Bar, that was fun! Lots of yummy drinks there.

 

Did the comedy club, it was fun too.

 

Did the hasbro game show, youngest kid loved it. His friend was picked to go up on stage so that was fun to watch.

 

Cruise Director was fun. He remembered my kid (or at least did a good job of pretending he did) so that made my son smile and of course always makes us happy.

 

That one night though where it was very wavy was rough for me. I fell asleep in my room in my dress.

 

Guys Burgers was a hit with my guys...I honestly think they are okay. I've had better. I did like the variety though.

I think you will enjoy it! I wasn't sure after being on such a nice ship (the dream) but I honestly really had a great time and thought this size was really manageable. Loved the upgrades and just had a fantastic time on board.

welcome! I really enjoyed the size of the ship. I didn't feel like I had to walk forever to get to things. I'd definitely cruise on her again!! You'll love it!
