Did anyone happen to notice if the balcony doors have a 'child safety' lock in ADDITION to the lock by the handle? I just want to make sure that my 5 y.o. monkey cannot open the door should I be in the shower.

Thanks!!!

I don't believe there is one. There's just the handle that you swing down from the up to down position to unlock the door.

Are you travelling alone with your child? If so, and if this is a concern, you might want to consider an inside cabin. I know I always had nightmares of my children climbing on the chairs or table and falling over.

Or take a shower when your kid is in the kid's club.

The sliding doors are really heavy. First you have to move the handle 90 degrees and then pull pretty hard. Our 9 year old had to give it some might to move. Also at the very top there was something you could lock the door. We never used it but I saw it. No kid would be able to reach that.

Thanks for that info I was wondering if there was a second lock.

Yes, there is a safety lock on the balcony doors...it's located at the top of the door, probably 6 to 6.5 feet from the floor.
