Electrical outlets

I've seen some clothes dryers that run on 220 v. that have that type of plug, but I don't think anyone brings their dryer with them. Not sure what else would fit that plug.

I'm pretty sure the vacuums that are used to clean the room use the 220 outlet.

Unfortunately I did not take a picture, but I think it might've looked like the 220 outlets on the left of the photos with the red backgrounds on the first page of this thread (the ones posted by Shmoo Here and Sadie N.)

 

Thanks, didn't look back at the old posts. That is a US 220v 20amp outlet. Never seen one on a cruise ship before. Since most of the equipment used by the crew is 220v, they must cut off the EU or UK plugs and put the US plug on to use this outlet. Don't even know if EU or UK travelers would get one of these in their adapter kits.
