Hi there-

Mom and I are planning a November 2014 Hawaii cruise on POA. I have sailed on the Jewel twice. Anyone who has sailed POA tell me what you like don't like?

Eight of us in our family went in February and there wasn't anything we didn't like! Review is in my signature if you'd like to read about our adventure. :)

Pros: Pretty ship, friendly crew. Thought the shows were good. The Na Pali coast sail by was beautiful. My DDs enjoyed the hula classes. Lei making was fun. Specialty restaurants were nice.

 

Cons: Food in the MDRs, small balcony cabin, tiny bathroom. (But you don't spend a lot of time in your cabin)

This is such a great cruise - I can't believe it's been nearly a year since we sailed. There's a full review linked in my signature & many of us are available to answer any specific questions you might have. POA is a lovely ship, but this cruise is really about Hawaii not the ship. There are fewer shows than on other ships and we didn't make any of them other than the Welcome Aboard show. Enjoy your adventure!

I have done this cruise twice with my DH and I will be back on POA in July with my parents. It is a fabulous cruise!!!
